Client Summary:

Our client is a global leader in Rolling Stock vehicle manufacturing, service and maintenance.

Position Summary

This position will be stripping down a Class 222 train back, replacing all the Electrical items and competency testing all newly installed components. You will be expected to complete Electrical re-fits from written work instruction, Battery Chargers, Pressure Switches and underframe items on Rolling Stock. You will also be expected to remove and replace the interiors to access electrical items. You'll be expected to test and inspect all replaced components with a fluke meter, so you must be competent in this area. This is a Safety Critical position and is a requirement against the Service Agreement (SA).

This could also include the following:

Rip out and replace lighting
Rip out and replace full or part of large wiring looms
Re-install wiring
Test Continuity
Battery Modifications
Heavy maintenance work
Repairing or installing Wi-Fi systems
Changing relay boxes
Wiper motors

Person Profile/Experience:
Previous Rail experience is preferred but not essential. Ability to understand complex schematic drawings is a must.
