We are recruiting for a confident charismatic communicator to join a team of 6 and become an integral part of the Quality Improvement leadership team at a leading aeronautical engineering company based in Fareham, Hampshire. Hands on engineering experience would be beneficial but is not essential, this is not an engineering role, this is more biased towards communicating well across departments, auditing, demonstrating quality values and being a point of contact for quality issue communications.
Paying a salary of circa GBP31000 to GBP35000 they can offer you an exceptional suite of benefits. Flexible working hours, discretionary 3% bonus, 25 days holiday, 7% pension contribution, discounts at shopping/leisure and gym retailers, a fantastic subsidised canteen at GBP1.50 a day, child care vouchers, share save scheme and more!!
As a Quality professional you will ultimately ensure that products and services meet requirements and crucially meet airworthiness standards. This is not an engineer centric role, yet any hands on experience within aeronautical environments would be beneficial. Ultimately you'll be auditing frequently, championing human factors, coaching and supporting managers/team leaders and installing a "stop at first defect" culture and become involved with resolving non-conformance's.Other aspects of your role would include following up on validations to confirm the efficiency of actions taken meet Airworthiness regulations, Customer requirements and the AS9110 standard, host external audits, participation in continuous improvement projects/activities as appropriate, some travel (4-6 times a year.
So what do I need? Experience working within an Aeronautical/Aerospace/Aviation environment, an understanding of airworthiness standards and being a strong communicator who will be able to gel well with department employees.
You may have started on the shop floor and worked your way up into quality, you maybe from the forces and have great assurance and auditing skills or you could be from a aeronautical manufacture well used to tackling defects and NCR's, hosting audits etc.
If you have the relevant experience then I want to hear from you immediately!! Please do not hesitate to call Tracy De Pass for a chat on (phone number removed) or click apply now to send us your CV for swift review!!
