The Opportunity
I am looking for a Technician to join and be a key part of a Central London based Transport Consulting team that holds a leading reputation for the delivery of complex, challenging and prestigious transport planning projects throughout the UK and globally.
The successful applicant will be far more than just a standard Technician. We are looking for an experienced and creative technician that will play a key role in project teams, will liaise with clients, hold responsibility and shall have an important say across scheme development.
Requirements
We are looking for a candidate with 5+ years experience of technical analysis and design across transport planning projects that are at the early stage of development. The ideal candidate will have experience of projects that include highways and infrastructure design, junctions analysis and design, car park design, traffic engineering, accessibility studies, bus and cycle schemes, vehicle tracking and swept path analysis.
You must have strong skills and experience of the following packages: AutoCAD and AutoTrack (Vehicle Tracking & Swept Path Analysis)
although not essential, experience of any of the following packages would be a benefit: Microstation, Rhino, GIS Packages, Adobe, KeySIGN, KeyLines, KeyACCIDENT, Junctions (Arcady, Picady).
