Would you like to play a key role in the support of training solutions for the Royal Saudi Naval Force? We currently have a vacancy for a Training Designer at our site in Portsmouth.
As a Training Designer, you will be undertaking Training Needs Analysis and Instructional Design during bid, development and support phases of the training lifecycle within agreed timescales and budget.
This role will provide you with the chance to work with an international customer, gaining exposure to a wide range of stakeholders.
Your main responsibilities as a Training Designer will involve:
Conducting TNA in accordance with a recognised Systems Approach to Training
Conducting instructional design in accordance with a recognised Systems Approach to Training
Undertaking and supporting solution integration and acceptance activities
Developing customer and stakeholder relationships
Adhering to and promoting Governance, Configuration and Change Control processes
Providing training-related subject matter expertise to technical and engineering authorities
Supporting training planning activities through the provision of subject matter expertise advice and guidance
Your skills and qualifications as a Training Designer:
Essential:
Instructional/training design experience gained from a defence related environment
Knowledge of Defence Systems Approach to Training (DSAT)
Desirable:
Completion of DSAT course
Engineering or equipment maintenance instructional design experience
TNA experience
What we're looking for in you:
You must possess excellent communication skills to enable you to build successful working relationships with a range of stakeholders, including international customers.
You must also be able to work to timescales to deliver customer requirements effectively.
