My client is currently seeking a Senior Asset Surveyor to join their Maintenance and Reinvestment Team where you will be responsible for delivering high quality and cost-effective strategies to manage the group's property portfolio. You will also be responsible for a programme of reinvestment and cyclical improvements, Fire Risk Assessments, Stock Condition Surveys and providing specialist surveyor input on a range of other matters.
Based in the harbourside city of Plymouth this role involves managing a small team of Asset Surveyors, ensuring business targets are achieved; monitoring contractor performance to ensure works are carried out promptly; producing documentation; encouraging resident involvement; ensuring projects are delivered in line with legislation and helping to identify required asset improvements in line with Business plans.
This role would require an HNC qualification in Building surveying or equivalent; proven experience in a building and surveying environment, experience of tendering and contract documentation and working knowledge of legislation and current practises. A full UK driving license is also required.
