Our client is a leading children's, family and learning disability charity. Founded in 1795, they enjoy the Patronage of Her Majesty the Queen and support thousands of vulnerable children and their families, children with special educational needs and people with learning disabilities in London and the South East.
They are now looking to recruit a Learning and Development Manager.
Leading on the launch of a new classroom training booking system which has already been developed, you will assist with system testing, stakeholder engagement, system training, reporting and organisational rollout; continuously reviewing the organisational strategy to develop innovative and creative L&D programmes to fulfil the requirements.
Maximising their Apprenticeship Levy Fund, whether that be in support of new talent into the business, developing current employees, or as part of talent and succession planning initiatives, you must manage the L&D budget and work with the 2 L&D Advisors to ensure that their training meets the growing needs of their children and adult provision.
You must also support the Instructional Designer to continue to develop and expand the current eLearning library, fully utilise new technology being introduced (Skype, etc) to provide a blended approach to learning across all areas of the organisation and continue to review the L&D processes within theLMS (Learning Pool) to identify further efficiencies and create an improved user experience.
This is a varied and multi-faceted role and would suit someone with a broad L&D background with particular experience in apprenticeships and learning technologies.
Benefits:
- The opportunity to work for a leading UK charity
- Competitive salary & benefits package
- Generous annual leave entitlement
- 1pm finish on a Friday
- A challenging and varied role
- A supportive team
- Additional leave during Jewish festivals
