Costs Draftsperson
Are you an experienced Costs Draftsperson looking for a new challenge? Do you have the ability to handle claims for costs covering a wide ranges of costs with the likes of RTA, Employers Liability and Clinical Negligence?

Based at the client's head office in the Warrington area, you can look forward to the following benefits:

Main duties and responsibilities for this role will include:
Preparing Precedent H's and dealings with all aspects of the cost budgeting process, from start to end.
Drafting Schedules for summary assessments.
Drafting and dealing with Points of Dispute and Replies.
Providing first hand advice to fee earners and running matters to assessment stages.
Liaising with all forms of contacts, including defendant/claimant solicitors, counsel and court.
Negotiating settlements as quickly as possible and to ensure they are on the best terms possible.
Dealing with all portal and fixed costs queries.
Preparing formal bills of costs.
In order to be considered for this role, you must also have the following skills and experience:
An awareness of regulations in relation to handling of all data in line with compliance with legislation and guidelines set out.
An ability to manage your own cost files.
Possess an enthusiastic and positive attitude.
Ability to use own initiative and making own key decisions.
Good case management skills.
