Elevation Recruitment Group has a fantastic opportunity for a CNC Press Brake Operator for a high profile client based in Sheffield.

The company has a busy machine shop with fabrication and welding functions. They are thriving within their marketplace with a very healthy order book. Due to an increase in their orders, they are looking for a CNC Press Brake Operator to join the team working a 2 shift rotation, Monday to Friday 6am to 2pm and Monday to Thursday 2pm to 12am

We will consider machinists from any manufacturing/engineering background with a specific skill set who would like to push themselves to achieve excellence.

Duties and Responsibilities include:

• Setting and running a CNC Press brake
• Working on medium components
• Adherence to health & safety standards
• Responsible for own workflow and machinery
• Working a 2 shift pattern on rotation, mornings and afternoons
• Strong emphasis on quality

The successful candidate will need to demonstrate the following skills and experience:

• Excellent attitude to work
• Engineering background- medium to heavy industry-large components
• Setting and running CNC press brake machinery (any machine considered as training will be given)
• Experience of working in a machine shop environment
• Experience of working at a fast pace
• Great communication and teamwork skills
