Trainee Bus Mechanic
Location: N London
Rota: Day Shift Mon - Fri 7am - 3.30 pm
Overtime: Available and at higher rate
Earning Potential for this Trainee Bus / Car / Van Mechanic role is GBP15 - GBP19 PH + Overtime
My client, a large transport company with a sizable depot in N London is looking to recruit skilled Trainee Bus / Car / Van Mechanic on a full time basis.
Applicants must have served a recognised apprenticeship as a Car / Van Mechanic and hold NVQ level 2 or equivalent qualifications in Light / Heavy Vehicle maintenance.
The successful Trainee Bus / Car / Van Mechanic will be put on a 6 week training course and will come out of it with a new qualification.
Our Trainee Bus / Car / Van Mechanic will have to be able to cope with the day to day pressures that a normal vehicle workshop brings and be able to make decisions when faced with breakdowns or vehicle accidents.
Possession of a full UK Driving licence is required and holding a Commercial Licence would be an advantage, however driver training can be provided to the successful Trainee Bus / Car / Van Mechanic / PSV Technician / HGV Engineer.
