Cover Supervisor / Pastoral Support Officer HULL76132

Starting as soon as possible, our client is seeking to appoint a committed individual to work as part of a dedicated team of staff. They seek colleagues who can effectively supervise students across the age range 14 to 16 covering lessons when required. The post will offer the opportunity to work in a wide range of subject areas across the curriculum. The position is an ideal opportunity for someone wishing to pursue a career in education.

The successful candidate will cover lessons of any subject and set high expectations to motivate and challenge students whilst developing employability skills and behavior effectively and promoting a positive learning environment. In periods where cover is not required the successful candidate will be on duty to support in the 14-16 College students in classrooms or out of classrooms as required.  

Candidates should have experience of working in a school environment with students aged 14-16. You must possess the skills and determination to make a significant difference to the lives of students and share our clients purpose of ‘Believe, Achieve & Succeed’.

Our client believes in a student-centered approach and that all teaching and support staff posts within the 14-16 College are key posts in terms of supporting student success and achievement across a broad range of subjects and experiences.
