An exciting opportunity now exists for a driven and dynamic individual to join a small team within a global organisation.

Our client is a large and well respected international freight and logistics organisation.

Purpose of role:

To provide Sales, Marketing & Communications support to the Contract Logistics sector. To be responsible specifically for creating, designing and supporting RFQ, RFP and strategic sales presentations. Literature and formal documentation. Support conferences, events, exhibitions,, marketing, upkeep of SharePoint, , being creativite and helping to drive quality forwards.

Operational Tasks & Responsibilities

* Proactively drive, prepare and write all communication topics, such as company internal and external communication and customer responses or presentations

* Maintenance of internal information packs

* Arrange all internal meetings and liaise with organisers and key DB Schenker staff and be available for attendance on-site.

* Keep the Sector SharePoint site accurate and up to date, including ideas for improvement.

* Ensure all PPT are current and in line with corporate design rules and generally raising quality.

* E-Marketing - responsible for all e-marketing, both internal and external bulletins.

* Sales/Customer Service - Provide updates, news and relevant news on a regular basis.

Customer Services:

* Ensure that all our internal clients receive exceptional customer service when working with our team.

* Act as a support for the for all business development activities

Administration:

* Have an excellent understanding of the DB corporate design rules.

* Super user on Microsoft software packages

* Monthly Report - produce summary with specific supporting documents by 1st of each month to line manager.

* Update CL Case Studies & monitor & report competitor activity

Projects:

* Desktop publishing - support for the creation of leaflets, brochures etc???

* Website - Act as back up including Intranet page.

* Head Office - Ensure head office environment is of good quality from an image perspective and distribution of various materials around facility.

* Social Media - ideas for content for our Facebook and LinkedIn profiles, in particular.

* Liaise with HR for all people news, changes and ensure that all marketing software is up to date.

Experience / Knowledge req'd

* Excellent relationship building skills, Strong territory knowledge and networking skills. Sales experience preferred but not essential, desktop publishing and website software knowledge a distinct advantage along with excellent MSOffice skills

* Ability to prioritise, organise and manage time and administration efficiently is essential
