Working hours 8:30am to 5:30pm - Monday to Friday
Our client is an independent company who is looking for an experienced Assistant Accountant to work alongside and support the Financial Controller. You will be working in a small team of 5 people.
Reporting to Financial Controller
* Daily reconciliation of the various multi-currency bank accounts
* Reporting of cash received to Department heads
* Supplier Statement Reconciliations and recommended payment runs
* Supplier payments both electronic and cheque
* Confident in communicating with suppliers who are demanding payment
* EC Sales, Intrastats and Vat return
* KPI's for Board pack
* Petty Cash Control
* Validation of expenses and payment thereof
* Various account analysis to support preparation of Management Accounts
* Ad-hoc tasks as requested by FC and CFO.
Requirements of the role:
* You will have relevant experience within a financial role
* The candidate will need to be hands on with a can do attitude.
* You will need to be able to deputise for the FC in his absence.
* Good excel skills are essential.
