Job Skills required for the Architectural Technician vacancy
• Must Be proficient in AUTOCAD (COMPUTER AIDED DESIGN)
• The ability to pay close attention to detail
• Be able to visualise objects in three dimensions
• Have ability to understand building technology
• Work well in a team / solo
• Being able to interpret technical drawings
• Be aware of how spaces & buildings are used
• Managing and co-ordinating workloads with other team members
• Preparing and presenting design proposals using CAD
• Compile technical information for planning of projects including site surveys, client requirements & building regulations
• Prepare applications for approval by various regulatory bodies
• Develop specifications for details and construction works
• Co-ordinate with other professionals (engineers, energy assessors etc).
• Be able to liaise with planning officers and clients on design aspects
