Maintenance 1st Line Manager (Control)

Wolviston Management Services are recruiting for permanent Maintenance positions on behalf of our client Dupont Tejin Films (DTF), Dumfries.

DuPont Teijin Films is the world’s leading differentiated producer of PET and PEN polyester films. Over 2,000 people work with them around the world while, in Dumfries, the team operate two manufacturing plants producing polymer and film for a wide range of markets and applications.

We are currently looking to recruit for the following position:

Maintenance 1^st Line Manager (Control), minimum requirements:

• A recognised engineering apprenticeship and suitable engineering qualification (minimum HNC) in control/electrical engineering
• Ability to lead and develop maintenance teams to improve equipment reliability through effective coaching and leadership skills
• Previous supervisory or management experience including a broad technical knowledge of manufacturing plant equipment maintenance requirements, including 3 phase, variable speed drives and PLC’s
• An understanding and experience of modern maintenance strategies and techniques
• Adaptable and flexible to support on site outside of normal working hours when required
• Good IT skills (Microsoft Office) and experience of using a CMMS system
