Due to exciting development of their residential service in the not too distant future, our client is now looking for a number of Support Workers who can bring a positive ‘can-do’ attitude, energy, enthusiasm and drive, and support users to live a full and varied life.

Within the role, you will support people with learning and physical disabilities with all aspects of daily living including personal care, emotional needs and social interaction. You will work as part of a care and support team and work in a variety of settings such as; residential services, community support services, clubs and within service users’ own homes.

All that they ask is that you;

• Have hands-on experience of caring & supporting people either in personal or professional circumstances
• Are self-motivated with the ability to use own initiative
• Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Can demonstrate the ability to show warmth, compassion, showing respect and dignity to others at all times
• Have a genuine desire to progress within the care industry
• Hold a full clean driving licence

Those who hold a QCF/NVQ in Care are highly desirable, however this is by no means essential.
