We have an exciting opportunity for a Finance and Risk Reporting Analyst to join our team in Milton Keynes.

As the Finance and Risk Reporting Analyst you will ensure that data across all credit risk portfolios of the bank is managed, validated and made available to the Finance and Risk divisions for data analysis. You will be responsible for the reconciliation and remediation across Finance and Risk data supporting the Finance and Risk regulatory reporting and returns.

The role holder will support the teams that are involved in the delivery of data for Finance and Risk stakeholders, both internal and external to the bank. The bank has acquired a lot of legacy systems; as a team we gather all of the information from the legacy systems to aggregate data, formulating it together to create a single data field.

As a Finance and Risk Reporting Analyst your main responsibilities will be

  • Performing reconciliation and validation routines across all deliverables.
  • Consolidating data from different and potentially conflicting sources of data.
  • Producing outputs for ad-hoc requests, this will include obtaining requirements, developing the processes to get the information and creating final outcome.
  • Ensuring that strong links are created and maintained within the different Finance and Risk departments and other key business areas such as Finance, Audit and Business.
  • Maintaining and creating procedure documentation for data and reporting processes.

Minimum skills and experience required

  • Experience of SAS and SQL Server programming is essential
  • Experience working to tight deadlines and ensuring deliverables of a high standard within a Corporate and Commercial Banking environment; highly organised, ability to plan and manage workload.
  • Excellent communication skills; ability to articulate key messages, analyse outcomes clearly and concisely to senior management on a regular basis coupled with excellent relationship building skills with third parties, internal customers and team colleagues alike.
  • Great problem solving skills and significant experience working on data management and development related projects.
  • Experience carrying out regulatory reporting is desirable, as is accountancy experience or qualifications.

Rewarding you

Salary is GBP47,000 - GBP52,000
