A world leading Technology Company who design a range of ruggedised electronics used by global defence and commercial companies all over the world are seeking an Engineering Manager - Electromechanical to join their site in Gloucester.
As the Engineering Manager - Electromechanical you will be responsible for leading product development by providing innovative solutions and acting as the Design Authority on behalf of the company.
Candidates MUST be eligible to obtain UK DV level security clearance, you must have been living in the UK for 10 years or more.
Key responsibilities of the Engineering Manager - Electromechanical job:
•To lead and manage the engineering team in the delivery of design and development programs
•Design cost effective solutions that meet technical requirements and company manufacture processes
•Implement continuous assessments of new technologies and techniques appropriate for future products
•Maintain, deliver and develop key performance indicators and metrics for the Engineering team
•Provide technical proposals for new business opportunities and support business development and sales
Key skills required of the Engineering Manager - Electromechanical job:
•Must have previous experience of managing an engineering team
•Solid knowledge of electronic / mechanical development with a good understanding of EMC
•Must be eligible to obtain UK Security Clearance
