Van Driver

On behalf of our client based within the Tipton area I am currently recruiting for van drivers to conduct multiple deliveries of furniture to customers' homes around the Birmingham and surrounding areas.

Candidates will need to be physically fit for this role as you will be required to lift heavy products in and out of customers homes along with the need to carry products up flights of stairs as and when required.

You will be working as or alongside a driver's mate assisting with the loading and unloading of products on the vehicle, this will also include going in and out of the customers homes upon delivery.

As a driver you will be the face of the company, ensuring customer service levels are kept to their upmost always is vital within this role. A professional and polite frame of mind is required from start to finish of your shift.

Drivers suitable for this role must possess the following???

• A valid UK driving licence with a minimum of 3 points.
• Previous experience working within a similar role is desirable.
• A good geographical knowledge of the Midlands area.
• Clear communication skills
• Own transport to travel to and from work is desirable but not essential.

Hours of work, Monday to Friday 07:00am start until finish, 9 hours per day is guaranteed.

On average all drivers must be prepared to conduct between 12 to 20 drops per day.

A small induction will be required before the start of your first working day, this will include health & safety procedures, clocking in and clocking out and delivery paperwork procedures.

Work will be available to start from Monday 12th November 2018.

This will be a 3 month temporary to permanent contract for the right candidates.
