CNC SETTER/OPERATOR
GARFORTH
NIGHTS
Salary negotiable depending on experience
Skillection are working with their automotive manufacturing client based in Garforth who are seeking a skilled CNC Setter/Operator to join their team.
The successful applicant will be responsible for the running of Haas CNC Machining Centres (4 - axis and 5 - axis) on a night shift.
The working hours would initially be between the hours of 9am until 5pm Mon-Fri during the probationary period and then Mon to Thurs between 8pm to 6am. Includes a competitive salary package.
We are looking for someone with experience of machining intricate components with a keen eye for detail.
Previous experience using Haas machines would be advantageous but not essential
Further training to become a full skilled programmer using Hypermill may be available to the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
•To set and operate the CNC machines and manufacture automotive including motorsport components
•Ability to read and understand engineering drawings including tolerancing of features.
•Use a range of manual measuring equipment in order to quality check parts produced
•Use our CNC CMM to in order to quality check parts produced.

??Able to work on own and as part of a team
An interest in motorsport would be an advantage however not essential
