We are recruiting for an experienced Production Planner to work for a packaging manufacturing organisation located in Bradford, West Yorkshire.
THE DUTIES:
* Provide data for reporting requirements against production targets, collating information and ensuring regular output to internal Customers / Depts.
* Highlight system and data issues and track progress; working closely with SMT.
* Liaise with relevant internal departments to improve performance and reliability of the planning system.
* Ensure production planning requirements are met by delivering all raw materials and packaging items at the correct time.
* Create and assign purchase orders to all suppliers.
* Suggest areas of improvement for internal processes along with possible solutions.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS & EXPERIENCES:
* Ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
* Ability to establish system for data collection , analysis and interpretation.
* Problem-solving ability, tenacious, can do attitude.
* Minimum 2 years experience working in a similar role.
* Good understanding of MS office: MS Word, Excel, Access.
THE HOURS:
Monday to Friday (40 hours).
THE PACKAGE:
You will be paid a basic salary of between GBP27,000 and GBP28,000 (depending on experience), plus outstanding benefits
