Central Employment are looking to recruit Manufacturing Operators for our client based in Seaham. This is an exciting new opportunity to kick start your career in the new year with an internationally recognised manufacturing organization.
Successful candidates will join a company who are process-driven, where agility, teamwork and personal development are key elements.
Main responsibilities will include:
* Operating assembly lines
* Maintain and monitor machines
* Maintain and update machinery operation records
* Conduct quality checks
* Verify adequate materials and supplies are available to complete operations
* Analyse machine operations and output as applicable
* Adjust/modify machines as needed for changeovers, different functions and varying needs of production
* Attention to surroundings to reduce accidents and injuries
Ideally candidates will have the following:
* Knowledge of safe machine practice standards
* Physical ability
* Technical ability
* Team working experience
* Good Coordination
* Ability to read blueprints or production schematics is necessary
* Ability to maintain machinery
* Ability to do small to moderate repairs on machinery
* Experience working with blow moulding machinery
* Possess a BTEC Level 3 National Extended Diploma (QCF level 3/ EQF level 4)
* Experience in blowmoulding and assembly (desired)
Candidates must portray the right work ethic and attitude, and flexible to work a 2 shift pattern (early and late shift), Monday- Friday.
