A consistently growing contractor accountancy firm based in Central Warrington are looking to hire an experienced Payroll Officer to join their highly successful team. Their customer base is ever-expanding due to their excellent service provision and reputation within their sector, and the successful candidate can expect continued professional development opportunities.

As a Payroll Officer you will:
* Prepare and input information into the company system for monthly and weekly payrolls
* Process payroll to completion in line with set targets
* Calculating salary changes including back pay and pro-rata's when required and final payments for leavers including holiday entitlement
* Processing SMP, SSP, SPP
* Responding to and resolving pay queries efficiently
* Providing support to junior colleagues including checking inputted data
To be a successful Payroll Officer you will need:
* A minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar payroll position
* Proven experience of working under pressure in a fast-paced environment
* Strong communication skills and an analytical approach to work
* Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a team setting
Payroll Officer Package and Benefits:
* GBP20,000-25,000 basic salary
* Annual bonus up to 15% of salary
* 23 days holiday, plus Bank Holidays, with one additional day for each year of service (to a maximum of 27)
* Birthday off work
* Generous 5% contributory pension scheme
* Free on-site parking
* Study support
