Project Manager - Grants Scheme

A leading environmental charity with a community focus are looking for a an experienced Project Manager to deliver a major grant scheme, ensuring the effective coordination of the grants programmes using excellent organisational skills, team leadership and client management abilities.

As Project Manager, you will be the main point of contact between the charity and the funders, ensuring excellent lines of communication to satisfy their expectations offering a partnership led service. Leading from the front, you will ensure that the project team are functioning effectively and efficiently to meet funder requirements. You will be integral in the implementation of robust monitoring, recording and reporting processes to meet strict requirements of the funding bodies and partners, ensuring records are maintained to meet obligatory formats and deadlines for periodic audits. Ideally you will have experience of using Salesforce as a grant management system.

It is crucial that you ensure high quality delivery of the grants programmes and you will take responsibility for all communications with funded groups providing reminders of reporting deadlines, follow up queries, collating responses, organising project visits and training sessions and develop case studies. You will arrange and participate in panel and board meetings and making the necessary arrangements for hosting meetings and events.

This role line manages project officers and volunteers and you will have oversight over their professional development and capacity.

It is essential that you are able to commute to Denham on a daily basis. It is desirable that candidates have a valid drivers license.
