Our client, an independent and highly successful firm of Accountants are looking to recruit an Assistant Accountant / Bookkeeper to service a wide range of clients. The client portfolio includes: Retail organisations, Property companies, Manufacturing businesses, Professional Services firms and Charities and the vast majority of these are based locally.
The role would suit an individual who is keen to work close to home in a small firm with a professional but friendly / family like culture. Technically you will need to be experienced in the following areas:
- Preparation of monthly and quarterly Management Accounts
- All aspects of general bookkeeping
- Quarterly VAT returns
- Corporation Tax compliance work
Ideally you will be AAT Qualified or perhaps you will have already commenced studying towards further professional qualifications - as full study support is offered. Experienced individuals who are non studiers or "QBE" are also welcome to apply.
The salary band of GBP23,000 - GBP28,000 has been set by Fletcher George as a guide and will be based on level of relevant experience. Due to location you must be a driver.
