The HR Director will be responsible for the strategic partnership and all HR activity in close collaboration with the Management Team within the EMEA region. The role leads and will form the HR agenda making sure that commercially the needs of the business are met from a people perspective. This organisation is looking for an accomplished HR individual, who will be agile and flexible to adapt to the varying needs of a business in growth and with lots of exciting ideas about HR! The following will be key elements of the role: - Strong partnership with the business, stakeholder management with the Senior Management team the work with them to deliver high business performance. You will report into the VP of HR who is based in China, to drive the EMEA HR Agenda. There is a joined up approach in the business, however you will be the expert in the region of Europe. - You will be someone who is able to flex their working style and focus- the types of challenges this role and organisation has are wide in variety and adaptability is key - Change and culture: The organisation has been through a lot of change, and is now looking for someone to embed HR, which will include making sure that correct HR procedures and processes are in place, but also looking at the culture, succession planning, hires across EMEA, reporting to the other members of the SMT. -Supporting internal and external change- for example potential M&A work and project work as and when it arises - Partner the global HR professionals to align business requirements and leverage in-country expertise - Lead and develop a team of 3 in the UK To summarise, this role is really is an excellent opportunity perhaps for a seasoned Head of HR who is looking to take their first step into an HR Director role, supported by a wonderful SMT.
