I am currently working with a specialist disposal company who are recruiting for a Waste Transfer Chemist at their site in Leicester.
The company are one of the largest waste management companies within the UK and are looking for Waste Transfer Chemist to join their expert team.
In the role of Waste Transfer Chemist you will be crucial part of the team ensuring the day to day operations within the transfer station run efficiently. Your role will be dynamic and will involve inspection, analysis of incoming waste and ensuring all loads meet required legislation. You will also be liaising with customer service and technical assessment departments. The ideal candidate will have a professional but personable working manor.
As the successful applicant to this role you will have the following;
1. A scientific/environmental at BSc Level or equivalent experience
2. Experience working in a Laboratory Environment
Desirable skills;
1. Previous experience in Hazardous waste industry
2. FLT Licence
3. Good understanding of IPPC and ADR Regulations.
