An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Business Development Manager with a leading Global Technology Solutions provider.

The company are one of the largest Electronic component distributors in the world with a comprehensive portfolio of electrical and electronic products globally, supported by an international supply chain and an inventory profile developed to anticipate and meet its customers' needs

As champions of STEM and innovators of the Industry they support a broad spectrum of valued customers from OEM's, CEM's and Design Engineers through to Makers, Teachers and Students.

The Role;

* The Business Development Manager will be responsible for relationship building and driving profitable sales growth within a given account base including Aerospace and Defence, Automotive and OEM's

* Proactively identifying and evaluate customer needs and requirements and recommend appropriate service solution.

* Negotiation and monitoring of agreements with customers to develop mutually beneficial partnerships. Constantly evolving with customers to deliver service that achieves sales targets

* Working in conjunction with the cross functional teams in Marketing, Operations, Finance and Tech Support to ensure smooth implementation

* Liaise with sales teams on account planning and strategy to ensure a consistent message that meets customer expectations, whilst developing and implementing plans to ensure best in class performance

Requirements;

* Previous Industrial product distribution and MRO sales or business development management experience

* Product knowledge in some of the following product groups; Connectors and Cables, Electromechanical, Power Supplies, Test & Measurement or Power Transmission

* Multi sector sales experience across MOD, Aerospace & Defence, Pharmaceutical or Medical

* High aptitude in sales and business development with a demonstrable track record in driving sales growth and forging strong client relationships

* Experience using CRM systems and managing multiple projects

* Good day to day planning capabilities are an essential for satisfactory performance

* Technical interests, specialist skills and experience are important for long term success
