My Client, a well established and well known manufacturing company based in Mold is currently looking for a Assistant Accountant/Materials Accountant to join their dynamic team on a full time & permanent basis.

THE JOB ROLE
• Ensuring that products are correctly costed
• Ensuring that monthly reported material spend is accurate
• Carrying out daily review of Cost variance report to verify accuracy
• Monthly reporting on Materials
• Preparing and presenting weekly and monthly financials for Operations team
• Co-ordinating Budget forecasting for materials
• Forecast year to go materials performance with Operations team
• Monitor variances and drive accountabilities within other teams/functions
• Agree monthly accruals for select burden accounts, and explain variances
EXPERIENCE / REQUIREMENTS
• Minimum part qualified (CIMA/ACCA)
• Strong spreadsheet skills
• Held a previous Accounting role, ideally within a manufacturing company
• Strong analytical skills and experience
• Good verbal communication skills, with some presentation experience
