As part of this Group there are several roles live right now and this one is for a Technical Engineer (Various levels). They are looking for experience or confident graduates or HNC - ONC level with strong communication skills and an engineering orientated degree. The Role: Structural and Construction related - Civil engineering

Strong opportunities for Graduates / HNC level with structural, construction or civil engineer qualification.

• Deliver quotes within set timescales to maintain company's customer service targets.

• Prepare load assessments and load calculations imposed on lintels using BS5977 'Methods of Assessment of Loads' based on the analysis of architects and structural engineers drawings.

• Specify standard off-the-shelf products, and also custom-made items designed specifically for relevant projects.

• Prepare lintel calculations at the customer's request to satisfy building control authority.

• Carry out an individual design service of any non-standard or bespoke steel lintels.

• Issue confirmation drawings for the customer's approval for special lintel orders received.

• Highlight opportunities for the supply of other products to the relevant department.

• Answer technical phone queries, whilst serving the customer with the highest level of technical and customer service.

• Periodic office and site visits to develop customer relationships and to measure up/solve technical issues.

• Collate information and prepare clear and structured technical reports on findings from site.

Candidate:

• A graduate or HNC level from an engineering discipline - ideally civil, structural, production. recent or experience professional engineer or construction or just straight out of college or university!

• Passion for all things structural and engineering related - technical and construction orientated.

• Knowledge and experience of AutoCAD and Manufacturing drawings / construction would be a bonus but not essential

• Focused on Customer Service and great communication skills

• Good organisational skills

• Target driven & ambitious

• You must drive because the site is not public transport friendly

• Site based in SWADLINCOTE
