ICT Technician - an organised, enthusiastic and proactive individual to join our team of highly skilled technicians offering ICT Support, Consultancy and Advice services to the education sector, charities and commercial enterprises.

The Company specialises in Educational ICT Support and support to Industry clients, currently within Coventry & the West Midlands.  We are looking to recruit an individual seeking a varied and customer facing role within the IT sector, with opportunities for progression as the company expands.

The role entails working, after initial training, without day-to-day supervision to ensure a high quality service is delivered to our clients at all times; there is a need to work as a team member with others on collaborative problem solving and mutual support.  Importantly, there is a requirement for you maintain our company’s high standards and to be an effective communicator with both staff members and our clients.

The ability to work with and around young people in a primary school environment and to play an active role in improving the teaching and learning in schools is essential; as is the ability to converse with clients outside the education sector.

The successful applicant will be required to visit several sites on a weekly basis, must have use of a vehicle and possess a full clean driving licence. A mileage allowance will be paid to cover motoring costs.

Skills Required:

You will need to demonstrate an understanding in most of the following;

• Microsoft Windows 7,8 & 10 Operating Systems
• Microsoft Server 2008 / 2012 / 2016 administration
• Apple client and server operating systems.
• Good basic network skills.
• Managed network print solutions.
• Enterprise wireless networks.
• Mass deployment and management of mobile technology.
• Cloud Based Management, Google, Office 365 administration
• Web design and basic programming skills.
• IWBs, projector servicing, sound and vision systems.
• Interest in emerging technologies and pushing the boundaries.
• An understanding of how technology is used in a teaching and learning environment.
• Full Driving Licence and available car

The role is Term Time Only [39 weeks] or a Full Time [52 week] period, dependent on the applicant's and Company's needs.

The annual full time salary is £24k to £25k per year, Pension Contributions and travel costs/mileage paid
