We have [b]two[/b] exciting opportunities to join our team of based in Exewater, Sowton Industrial Estate, Exeter as a Craftsperson - Mechanical.

[b]***One position will be based in the Repair Workshops with the other on the Planned Maintenance Team***[/b]

[b]The Positions[/b]

[b]The [/b][b]Repair Workshop [/b][b]Craftsperson - Mechanical[/b] will strip, inspect and repair assets which are sent through South West Water's internal Repair Workshop from both Waste Water Services and Drinking Water Services function. You will provide services of the required quality and quantity, in a sustainable manner that meets the required internal and external customer service standards, whilst protecting the environment.

[b]The [/b][b]Planned Maintenance [/b][b]Craftsperson - Mechanical[/b] will fault find, repair and maintain SWW assets across a range of company sites, predominantly Waste water sewage pumping stations. You will help ensure maximum asset availability and support the SWW Pure vision by assisting minimising risk to compliance, quality requirements and health & safety.

[b]Our Ideal Repair Workshop Craftsperson - Mechanical:[/b]

*Completed a recognised engineering apprenticeship and hold qualifications in DSEAR / ATEX*Understanding of PUWER, LOLER, COSHH, Lean manufacturing and the 5s methodology

*Able to deliver an effective maintenance service in both workshop and site environments*Experience of working with Drinking and / or Waste Water treatment processes would be desirable*Able to fault find and repair large complex pieces of mechanical equipment.

[b]Our Ideal Planned Maintenance Craftsperson Mechanical=[/b]

*Experience of working within a maintenance environment*Worked with Risk Assessments, Method Statements and Safe Systems of Work to deliver an effective and safe maintenance regime*Able to deliver an effective maintenance service in both workshop and site environments*Experience of working with Drinking and / or Waste Water treatment processes would be desirable*Able to fault find and repair large complex pieces of mechanical and Electrical equipment.
