We now have an exciting opportunity has arisen to join one of the South West's leading employers as an Assistant Project Manager to join our Waste Water Services team in Exeter.
[b]This role is offered on a 12 month Fixed Term Contract basis.[/b]
[b]The Role[/b]
The Assistant Project Manager will be responsible for all the aspects of delivery of developer lead sewer schemes delivered by the Company under the Water Industry Act from initial application to final handover. You will be accountable for building and maintaining customer relationships to ensure the consistent delivery of excellent level of service. Duties include:
*Building and developing excellent working relationships with our customers.*Financial monitoring and forecasting the costs on the delivery schemes to ensure they are delivered on budget*Production of tenders in line with New Engineering Contract (NEC) on a design and build basis*Subsequently reviewing those tenders to make sure they are in line with the required standards*Technical support on point of connection enquiries.
[b]The Ideal Assistant Project Manager:[/b]
*HNC / NVQ Level 4 in Civil Engineering or equivalent and educated to A-level standard*Familiarity in preparation of monthly financial reports for projects*Experience in the management of multiple projects from application to final account with a track record in consistent delivery to time, quality and budget*Experience of maintaining an up-to-date high level understanding of the technical requirements related to the delivery of the services*Strong customer service experience and ethic, with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels*Experienced with health & safety including promoting a culture of awareness within the team*Technical knowledge of wastewater
