We are looking for an Administration officer to work for the Leeds District Magistrates Court located in the centre of Leeds. The rate of pay will be £7 and will increase to £9 after 12 weeks. 37 hours per week Monday-Friday. This will be a temporary long term assignment.

The role will include general admin duties - Please see below duties and criteria for this role:
" Inputting simple data onto computer system
" Post opening and sending out post
" Answering public counter and telephone queries
" Filing - Taking files into court room/offices within building
" Scanning and photocopying documents
Use of Microsoft word, excel, adobe and outlook required. Excellent customer service skills, on the job training will be given.


The ideal candidate will need to have good accuracy, punctuality and willingness to be flexible and adapt to different type of work. You will need to have the ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines. Must have a positive attitude, low sickness record, positive can-do attitude, must be able to work as part of a team and use own initiative and must be able to work with minimum supervision.

A Basic DBS check will be carried out so you will need to be able to pass this

The role is available to start ASAP, we would need to get all references back in order to start the role.
*Please note working for the Ministry of Justice will require you to have photographic ID. This can be a Full length Birth Certificate supported by a driving or provisional licence in your current address OR an in date passport*
