Underlining its commitment to continually improve effectiveness and financial sustainability, Truro Cathedral has an exciting full-time vacancy for a newly-created position of Chief Operating Officer.

This role will be instrumental in the next phase of the cathedral’s development and has a specific focus to bridge the gap between the strategic objectives of the Chapter and operating capability of the organisation. It offers the successful candidate a chance to work in a unique environment, the sacred space of Cornwall's cathedral, whilst delivering commercial excellence and sound business leadership as part of an established team.

We are looking for someone who has a proven track record for leading staff to commercial and operational success and confidence, promoting personal and professional development. The role will also encompass regulatory knowledge of health & safety, risk management and safeguarding, so past experience in these areas will be necessary.
