We require someone to work in our accounts department. Initially, your focus will be on contract management, ensuring all aspects of taking on contracts are correctly managed, maintaining details of the order book, working closely with the Quantity Surveyor to prepare accurate sales and cash forecasts then ensuring all sales invoices are prepared on a timely basis and cash is promptly collected. You will provide Contract Managers with regular cost updates on their projects, working with them to ensure required profitability is achieved.

You will receive training on wages and cost processing to ensure you can cover for other staff during periods of absence.

We are looking for someone with basic understanding of accounts processes (AAT trained/trainee preferred but not essential), who can work quickly and accurately under pressure. We anticipate the role growing as the business embarks on a period of planned expansion, taking on more responsibility. This is an exciting time to join the business as an ambitious team look to take the business to the next level.

Good Maths and English skills are vital to the role, along with an intermediate knowledge of excel. QuickBooks experience is preferable but not crucial.

We are committed to staff training and would consider supporting further studies as required.

There is on-site parking at our workshop within Templegate Industrial Estate.

Hours: 8am – 5pm / Monday – Friday.
