About us

Well-established software company, Hyperspheric Solutions Ltd is the creator of GO 4 Schools, an online, high-performance, Software as a Service (SaaS) offering that is transforming the way schools across the country collect, manage, visualise, analyse and share their data. We are a growing company building upon our continued success. Our teams are professional, friendly people who pride themselves on delivering first-class software solutions to our end users in a collaborative working environment.

About GO 4 Schools

GO 4 Schools allows staff, students, parents and governing bodies to work with school data to support students’ education. As well as the main web site, there is a mobile app for use by students and parents. At present, GO 4 Schools works in tandem with schools’ Management Information Systems (MISes), but our plans include the delivery of full MIS functionality within GO 4 Schools itself, to allow schools to use it as their sole information system. We are also working on migrating GO 4 Schools to Microsoft’s Azure platform.

Overview of the role

Members of our software development team work in scrum teams in a two-week sprint cycle to deliver enhancements and entirely new features to GO 4 Schools. Each scrum team consists of a senior developer/scrum master plus a mixture of developers and junior developers, and also draws time from our team of testers.

All in the team are involved in the production, review and estimation of effort on user stories and in delivering upon them based on prioritisation agreed with the product owner.

The technologies we use at present include ASP.Net, .Net Framework/Core, C#, Azure, REST/JSON, Xamarin, T-SQL, HTML5 & Javascript, and we automate building and testing where possible.

The culture promoted in the software development team is one of collaboration, continuous improvement and innovation. As a valued employee we will foster the development of your career through training that is tailored to your own needs, whether through in-house training, good mentoring and accredited courses.
