ACCOUNTANT

Gates (U.K.) Ltd is a major international company specializing in the production of Power Transmission belts for the automotive and industrial markets as well as specialising in the supply, installation and commissioning of hydraulic and industrial hoses, hydraulic solutions, filtration and flushing systems, pumps. Our continuing success has resulted in the following challenging opportunities

ACCOUNTANT

• Reporting directly to our Senior Financial Accountant, duties include
• Maintenance and review of entities and corporate ledger
• Completion of month end Balance Sheet reconciliations as required
• Completion of  VAT returns
• Preparation of monthly management reports and analysis
• Preparation and submission of monthly forecasts and annual budget
• Support of the manufacturing facility finance team as required
• You will take responsibility for all control activities where you are the process owner and that are subject to Sarbanes-Oxley Act 404 Compliance

Required Experience:

Fully qualified CA/ACCA/CIMA/ACA with at least 5 years relevant post qualification accounting experience.  Consideration would be given to a time qualified applicant.  Statutory accounts preparation and manufacturing experience is desirable.  Knowledge of the financial system HFM and Oracle would be advantageous but full training will be given.  Full training will be provided on Sarbanes Oxley
