We are looking to recruit an Administration Officer to work for a Government based client in the Longbenton area. The client is responsible for resourcing and recruiting staff to work within the Civil Service.

Duration - This is a full time, temporary role for initially 3 months, but with a view to be extended

Pay rate - £7 per hour, which will increase to £9 after 12 weeks

Working Hours - Monday-Friday 9am - 5pm, 37 hours a week

Start Date - ASAP

This role will support the development of new online psychometric testing products within the Department, and your day-to-day duties will include:
- Collate and update a variety of spread sheets of information
- Liaise with volunteers by phone and email
- Organise meetings/workshops, room booking and participant attendance
- Collate online survey forms
- Monitor and encourage participation rates in survey trials
- Organise telephone or face to face meetings
- Maintain accurate records
- Use mail-merge techniques to send large volume customised communications

Successful candidates will be/have:
- Proficient in use of Office software applications - especially spread sheets
- Able to carry out mail merge requests
- Able to quickly learn how to use survey software (i. Survey Monkey or Smartsurvey)
- Strong communicators both on the telephone and in written formats
- Strong attention to detail, with a focus on accuracy
- Self-organised
- Able to work to deadlines
- Flexible under changing deadlines and tasks
- Able to work without supervision
- A responsible attitude

The successful candidates would be subject to a Security Clearance which would cost £25 initially, but would be fully refunded to candidates after 4 weeks in the role.
