Do you come from an environmental and social background? Are you experienced at liaising with and educating local communities? Are you keen to work for a community based organisation where you can have a real and visible impact on people and the local environment? If so, please read on...

This is a slightly different Environmental Manager role in the sense that it's not based around ISO 14001 but instead it's a role focused around managing a number of environmental programmes, community engagement and behavioural change. You'll get the opportunity to use your report writing skills and communications skills, as you'll be interacting with people throughout the business, not just in the lively Team where you'll be based, together with your behavioural change knowledge and experience of environmental education.

Due to the location of the site, the issue of air quality is high on the list - as such, experience of delivering awareness and education campaigns on these and related issues would be beneficial, how to reduce the impact of air pollution and formulating an environmental strategy.

Keen to get out and about? Then this role is perfect for you as you certainly won't be office based. Indeed, you'll be a vital link between the charity and the community, visiting schools and colleges and meeting with local residents and member organisations. Your engagement skills will really be put to the test, as will your ability to encourage behavioural change and deliver campaigns to people at various ages and levels. Your strong IT skills will also come in handy, as will your ability to contribute to the environmental strategy and suggest improvements to the buildings in the project.

So if you're based in London and are keen to join a vibrant team of people who are 100% committed to the environmental, social and economic wellbeing of the community, please call Katie on (Apply online only) ext 207 to find out more
