CHAIR

Chair remuneration - £337 per day plus travel and other reasonable expenses

Time Commitment – 8 days per month.

The Social Care Wales Board is made up of a Chair and no more than 14 Members, all of whom are appointed by Welsh Ministers. The Board is lay led which means that there will always be more people who use services, carers and members of the public, on the Board than professionals from the care sector.

This is an exciting opportunity to use your skills and experience to make a difference to the social care and early years sectors in Wales, to help build confidence in these sectors’ workforce, and to lead and support improvement in social care throughout Wales.

The closing date for applications 4 January 2019.

Mae Bwrdd Gofal Cymdeithasol Cymru yn cynnwys Cadeirydd a dim mwy na 14 o aelodau, y mae pob un ohonynt wedi’i benodi gan Weinidogion Cymru. Lleygwyr sy’n arwain y Bwrdd sy’n golygu y bydd bob amser mwy o bobl sy’n defnyddio gwasanaethau, gofalwyr ac aelodau’r cyhoedd ar y Bwrdd na gweithwyr proffesiynol o’r sector gofal.

Dyma gyfle cyffrous i ddefnyddio’ch sgiliau a’ch profiad i wneud gwahaniaeth i’r sectorau gofal cymdeithasol a’r blynyddoedd cynnar yng Nghymru, i helpu i feithrin hyder yng ngweithlu’r sectorau hyn, ac i arwain a chefnogi gwelliant mewn gofal cymdeithasol ledled Cymru.
