The Learning and Development Officer will be responsible for the ownership of high quality, high energy interventions aligned with the L&D strategy - specifically focused on management development and other talent initiatives

Key Responsibilities:

* Accountability for the annual review process - ensuring that all users are educated and capable of using the system
* Assisting with the identification of role specific competencies for all divisions and departments
* Evaluation of data associated with the annual review process to drive development initiatives and training activity
* Delivering management development modules to managers at all levels across all sites and divisions
* Assisting with the delivery, design and rollout of management development programmes at various levels of management - linked to externally recognised qualifications
* Continually improving the provision of management development courses ensuring that all modules are current, fit for purpose and in line with business needs
* Coaching managers in groups or one to one assist them with the performance and development of their teams
* Delivering the Company Induction, systems training and others when required
* Working with external suppliers to provide high quality, great value training aligned to specified needs
* Coordinating the logistics and resources of all L&D interventions ensuring that business needs are a priority and that any corresponding administration is up to date
* Keeping informed of developments in Exertis and the wider IT industry, as well as in the learning and development field

Essential Requirements

* Graduate or graduate calibre
* Experience managing multiple stakeholders across multiple sites - influencing others to take action
* Demonstrable experience of managing people initiatives to completion
* Ability to present information in an engaging and interesting way
* Thorough knowledge of the training cycle and additional development activities
* Driving licence and ability to travel to different business locations as required
* Demonstrate a strong understanding of and awareness to Ethics and Compliance and the DCC Group Code of Conduct

Desirable Requirements

* Experience of working in a busy target driven environment
* Organisation skills - able to plan and prioritise own time and be self-motivated
