Our client, an Ecological Consultancy which offers wide-ranging environmental solutions to clients throughout the UK. They are currently seeking a Senior Ecologist to work from their Buckinghamshire office.
Services provided include; Ecological surveys and assessments, Arboricultural advice and surveys, Project implementation and contract management, Urban design and master-planning, Green infrastructure planning, Landscape and Visual Impact Assessment and Landscape design and planning advice.
Role responsibilities as a Senior Ecologist will include the co-ordination and supervision of Field and Assistant Ecologists to ensure projects are performed and delivered to the highest possible standard, Field work including Phase 1 habitat surveys and protected species work, contributing to the promotion and development of the company's ecological services and mentoring junior team members.
Applicants must hold at least one English Nature licence and possess exceptional identification skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are also required for the role as is CIEEM Membership.
