Why is our Learning and Development Content Manager role the next step for you?
Global Enterprise eCommerce prides itself on the Learning and Development offering to its commercial and support teams. The business unit has an L&D team fully dedicated to the area, supporting teams in all of our global offices - London, Amsterdam, Singapore, Shanghai, Tokyo, San Francisco, Lowell, Sao Paulo, and Buenos Aires. The eCommerce academy team is built up of colleagues in the UK and North America, and is a part of the wider Sales Enablement team in Global eCom.
How will you add value on a day-to-day basis?
The primary function of the role is to support all product learning and development activity. Worldpay has recently merged with US acquirer, Vantiv, meaning there is a lot of ambiguity and knowledge gaps in our commercial and support teams on our product offering to our customers. There is huge opportunity here to further align and development two large heritage organisations.
Day to day this will involve you working closely with the product, commercial, and support leadership teams to; produce product eLearnings, vet product supporting documentation held on our 'sharepoint', facilitate product training sessions - face to face, and virtual, and utilise training needs analysis to continually have an awareness of where knowledge gaps are.
What will make you the ideal candidate?
Being a diverse role, the ideal candidate will have experience of working in a learning and development function, with the ability to convert complex information into streamlined and coherent learning content. Experience working with a variety of stakeholders, managing those who are outside of your immediate control will be essential to the success of this role. The ideal candidate will be highly confident in working and executing a plan independently, but ensuring they are utilising and working with their immediate and wider team in the process. Previous use of eLearning software would be highly desirable, along with the ability to focus on developing content in a time efficient manner in line with commercial goals.
