VAT Specialist - CONTRACT Tax Manager - Central London

This is an urgent and immediate requirement, therefore candidates will need to be available to interview and start at a very short notice. The contract is until the end of February.

We are looking for an experienced and seasoned indirect tax professional who has been managing the accurate and timely submission of all associated UK indirect tax returns, while demonstrating compliance with all tax legislation, including compliance with SAO requirements.

You will possess;

• Proven experience working within a tax management role, ideally within a Big 4 Practice Firm
• Experience as a VAT specialist
• Strong technical background of indirect tax matters; tax qualifications: CTA, ATT
• Experience and understanding of tour operators margin scheme (TOMS) and partial exemption, as well as a knowledge of IPT, are highly desirable
• Experience dealing with HMRC and in-house finance teams
• Confidence and experience working in a complex, fast-paced multiple legal entity
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
