Willowbrook in Newport, is a high quality community housing and care scheme for older people comprising 40 self-contained apartments. Facilities include communal space for social activities, a shop, hairdressing salon, restaurant and library.

Each apartment is wheelchair accessible and has an ensuite bathroom and fitted kitchen. A scheme manager and care manager work closely to ensure that a high quality service is provided for the tenant and that the care package they receive is tailored towards their specific needs.

We are currently looking to recruit a self motivated Housekeeping Assistant to provide high quality cleaning and care throughout the ExtraCare scheme.

Your duties will include:

·     Ensuring that all rooms and common spaces are properly cleaned and maintained throughout the building.

·     Developing a positive relationship with all residents, staff and other visitors to the home by becoming an integral part of the team.

To successfully undertake this role, you will be a good communicator, have excellent customer service skills, understand our residents’ needs and be able to work on your own initiative and as part of a team. You will be working some weekends and ideally, you will have undertaken a similar role.
