Project Administrator

Grade 4: Starting salary £19,730 per annum (1 Year Fixed Term)

You will be responsible for day-to-day administration of a range of research projects within the Keele Clinical Trials Unit (CTU). Under the guidance of a Trials Manager, you will work within a team, providing lead admin support for a number of research projects.  Your duties will include general administrative project management of population surveys, clinical trials and other research projects. You will need strong organisational and IT skills, experience of computerised data entry and an excellent eye for detail. You will be responsible for the organisation of research meetings and maintaining further development of the CTU’s Standard Operating Procedures and Research Governance Policies.

In addition, you will have a role around providing more general administrative tasks as deemed commensurate within this grade.

You will have NVQ level 3 or equivalent along with at least two years working experience as an administrator.  You will have strong organisational skills and a highly systematic and methodical approach to work-related tasks and experience of organising meetings and minute taking.  A keen eye for detail is essential, along with a proven ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of people at all levels. You will be familiar and proficient with Microsoft Office software and a basic understanding and awareness of research administrative policies and procedures.
