HVAC Estimator (M&E Building Services)

Established MEP Building Services Contractors seek to strengthen their estimating team by the appointment of a Mechanical Building Services Estimator to work on HVAC aspects of projects typically in the range of GBP500k to GBP4M HVAC value

Role:

Handling mechanical aspects of tenders from receipt of enquiry through to submission and project team handover, your role as HVAC Estimator will include:

• Costing mechanical installations to comply with the design brief, specification & drawings
• Obtaining quotations & negotiating costs with suppliers & specialist subcontractors
• Assisting in preparing the bid return documentation & in negotiating the order
• Liaising with site personnel and client representatives to ensure smooth project operation
• Use of computerised estimating software
• Value engineering

Job Requirements:

• Qualified to ideally ONC level or higher in a Building Services or Engineering discipline
• HVAC Services estimating experience gained with M&E Contractors including projects in the region of GBP2M+ mechanical value
• Excellent attention to detail
