Exciting opportunity to join an established manufacturing company as an Area Sales Manager for the North London area. Ideally candidate will be based in this area or along the A12 corridor.


As a Regional Sales Manager you will be a results-driven team player who actively seeks out and engages with the market place. Representing a leading equipment manufacturer of water booster pump systems & heating / chilled water pressurisation systems you will provide complete and appropriate solutions for every customer in order to boost top-line revenue growth, customer acquisition levels and profitability.


In this role your key responsibilities will include:
- To call upon developers, M&E consultants, contractors, merchants and equipment installers
- To build on already established strong working relationships
- To develop sales through a vast existing customer base, whilst also highlighting, targeting, and converting new potential customers, and be able to manage your own diary and appointments is expected
- Present, promote and sell products/services to existing and prospective customers
- Reach out to customer leads through cold calling
- Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within time frames
- Analyse the areas potential, track sales and report accordingly
- Supply management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services
- Keep abreast of best practices and promotional trends
- Continuously improve through feedback

Essential Qualifications/Experience/Skills:
- A technical background, preferably with experience in pump sales and / or building services.
- Good organisational & communication skills
- A demonstrable, relevant sales background is essential
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office (Word Excel Power Point )
- Familiarity with BRM and CRM practices along with ability to build productive business professional relationships
- Highly motivated and target driven with a proven track record in sales
- Excellent selling, communication and negotiation skills
- Prioritising, time management and organisational skills
- Ability to deliver presentations tailored to the audience needs
- A full clean driving licence is required
