An 'Outstanding' setting in Worthing are seeking a nursery manager to join their close team of 15. This role will be primarily room based (70/30) with days based in the office too. The setting are seeking someone who is very strong on their EYFS and who can work within the rooms supporting and training staff.

This setting are seeking somebody dynamic, active, inventive and with strong senior experience in previous roles. A successful candidate will also gel well with a well established staff team to inspire them to keep the nursery in going from strength to strength. You will also be working closely with the manager.

Responsibilities:
Take responsibility for the day-to-day running of the Nursery in the absence of the owner
Ensuring the nursery meets the requirements of the Early Years Foundation Stage and OFSTED registration and inspection criteria
To maintain positive links and effectively promote the facility within the local community.
Lead the planning, monitoring and evaluation for the nursery.
Motivate and lead a team of Early Years practitioners in the delivery of best possible practice to meet the needs of parents, children and families.
Provide to the team day-to-day support, guidance, training, development and supervision
Maintain high standards of care and consistent environments for children
The implementation of the EYFS framework
To ensure that children's records, online learning journals, daily sheets etc are maintained to the highest standard and reflect their progress learning and development.
To ensure the environment is safe and stimulating

The salary is ranging from GBP25,000 - GBP30,000, but can be negotiable depending on experience. It would be working 40 hours a week, but this is a pro-rata role and if needs be could work on 35-40 hours a week.
