Part-time Centre Manager, 9am to 2pm, 5 days a week (some flexibility)
Salary £25,000 - £35,000 pro rata commensurate with experience

Job Brief:
The Trustees seek an experienced Manager to run the Centre on a day to day basis. The Manager will be responsible for ensuring the successful future of the Centre through effective management, budgeting and fundraising. The successful candidate will manage a team of staff and volunteers and will liaise with Trustees.

- Friendly and outgoing with knowledge and understanding of local community Professional but flexible approach
- Able to work under pressure
- Capacity to multi-task
- Willing to undertake training
Responsibilities:
- Day to day management of the Centre
- Budget/finance control
- Grants and Fundraising
- Health & Safety and Risk Assessments
- Centre security and maintenance
- Policies
- Management of staff and volunteers
- Weekly banking
- To attend Trustee meetings
- To cover in the absence of the Administrative Assistant Essential:
- Excellent understanding of budgeting and finance with proven experience
- Ability to seek grant funding
- Ability to deal with people at all levels including Trustees, Staff, Volunteers, Members and Visitors
- Experience in managing Staff
- Good level of IT skills
Desirable:
- Knowledge of Health & Safety and Risk Assessments
- Designated Premises Supervisor (Licence Holder)
- Or willingness to undertake training for each of the above
